The majority of riders feel that Walking Dead – The Ride falls short of expectations, describing the coaster as short, tame and under‑thrilling. The indoor queue and preshow receive occasional praise for atmosphere, but the theming is widely criticized as cheap, mismatched to the family coaster layout and plagued by overly loud sound effects. The 1.4 m height restriction and lengthy, uneventful corridors further dampen enthusiasm.
